Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) Primer Pigment

This primer contains premium-grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) white pigment, renowned for its exceptional performance for oil priming. Its standout feature is its enduring whiteness, coupled with remarkable flexibility that persists over time. In contrast to other pigments such as zinc dioxide, Titanium Dioxide maintains its resilience, preventing brittleness as it ages. This quality ensures that artworks retain their integrity and will stand the test of time.

Our Hardcore™ Pro Pro Canvas Panels are the flattest on the market. They are made using MDF (medium density fiberboard) which is the highest quality engineered wood board on the market. Moisture in the board can cause undesirable results to the panel and your artwork, which is why we size the board with four layers on the front before the canvas is mounted, thereby defending against moisture getting into the board and underneath your artwork.

Canvas Panels should be as flat as possible, otherwise, they don't display well in a frame, and can create spaces between the artwork and the frame. A bowed panel is also a sign of having been impacted by the effect of moisture. Canvas can shrink, even after it is mounted on the board. For this reason, Masterpiece® developed a unique proprietary process that stress-relieves each panel, thereby virtually eliminating the bow that is commonly found in competing panel products. Hardcore™ Pro Canvas Panels provide a stable foundation for your art.

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure. ♦ Elbert Hubbard

A renowned writer and philosopher of his time, Elbert Hubbard was no stranger to the juxtaposition of ambition and apprehension. In the face of adversity and uncertainty, he recognized that the drive to succeed had to be robust, resilient, and greater than any looming dread. His words serve as a beacon for many, especially artists, who face the daunting task of creating and sharing their work with the world.

The process of creation is often fraught with self-doubt. Whether it's a blank canvas, an empty stage, or a silent studio, the initial steps can be paralyzing. Yet, it's that very hunger for accomplishment and the vision of the finished masterpiece that propels us forward. Hubbard's wisdom reminds us that our passion for our work, our unyielding need to express, should always eclipse the trepidation of critique or misunderstanding.

The beauty of art lies not only in the final piece but in the courage and tenacity of the artist who dares to bring it to life. By embracing our desire and using it as fuel, we find the strength to overcome our fears and thrive in our chosen path.
