Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) Primer Pigment

This primer contains premium-grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) white pigment, renowned for its exceptional performance in acrylic priming. Its standout feature is its enduring whiteness, coupled with remarkable flexibility that persists over time. In contrast to other pigments such as zinc dioxide, Titanium Dioxide maintains its resilience, preventing brittleness as it ages. This quality ensures that artworks retain their integrity and will stand the test of time.

Artfix Pau™ Portrait Smooth Belgian Linen offers a luxurious surface, ideal for highly detailed work. Preferred by portrait artists because it is so smooth for linen. Due to the nature of how flax plants are turned into linen textiles, there may be variations in yarn thickness thereby creating fabric that is individual in nature and has character. There can be infrequent naturally occurring nubs in the linen which may yield small slight bumps where the linen is a little thicker than the rest of the strand. This is normal and part of what gives linen its character.

Our Hardcore™ Pro Pro Canvas Panels are the flattest on the market. They are made using MDF (medium density fiberboard) which is the highest quality engineered wood board on the market. Moisture in the board can cause undesirable results to the panel and your artwork, which is why we size the board with four layers on the front before the canvas is mounted, thereby defending against moisture getting into the board and underneath your artwork.

Canvas Panels should be as flat as possible, otherwise, they don't display well in a frame, and can create spaces between the artwork and the frame. A bowed panel is also a sign of having been impacted by the effect of moisture. Canvas can shrink, even after it is mounted on the board. For this reason, Masterpiece® developed a unique proprietary process that stress-relieves each panel, thereby virtually eliminating the bow that is commonly found in competing panel products. Hardcore™ Pro Canvas Panels provide a stable foundation for your art.

The first duty of a man is the seeking after and the investigation of truth. ♦ Cicero

Cicero's profound observations on the human condition often illuminated the quest for knowledge and understanding as central to one's existence. In a world characterized by shifting allegiances, political intrigues, and transient pleasures during his time, Cicero regarded the pursuit of truth as a guiding principle, a beacon illuminating the murky waters of life's uncertainties.

This call to seek truth can be likened to the insatiable drive to express, explore, and understand both the world around us and the depths of our own inner landscapes. Art becomes the vessel, the medium through which we investigate and interpret the multifaceted truths of our existence. Whether we're capturing the raw emotion of a moment, the intricate patterns of nature, or the complex interplay of light and shadow, our creations are testament to our commitment to uncovering truth. And as we navigate our art careers, this dedication becomes our compass, guiding us through challenges and leading us toward authenticity. The masterpieces we produce, then, are not just reflections of our skill or technique, but also embodiments of the truths we've sought and discovered along our path.
