Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) Primer Pigment

This primer contains premium-grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) white pigment, renowned for its exceptional performance in acrylic priming. Its standout feature is its enduring whiteness, coupled with remarkable flexibility that persists over time. In contrast to other pigments such as zinc dioxide, Titanium Dioxide maintains its resilience, preventing brittleness as it ages. This quality ensures that artworks retain their integrity and will stand the test of time.

Artfix Pau™ Portrait Smooth Belgian Linen offers a luxurious surface, ideal for highly detailed work. Preferred by portrait artists because it is so smooth for linen. Due to the nature of how flax plants are turned into linen textiles, there may be variations in yarn thickness thereby creating fabric that is individual in nature and has character. There can be infrequent naturally occurring nubs in the linen which may yield small slight bumps where the linen is a little thicker than the rest of the strand. This is normal and part of what gives linen its character.

Our Hardcore™ Pro Pro Canvas Panels are the flattest on the market. They are made using MDF (medium density fiberboard) which is the highest quality engineered wood board on the market. Moisture in the board can cause undesirable results to the panel and your artwork, which is why we size the board with four layers on the front before the canvas is mounted, thereby defending against moisture getting into the board and underneath your artwork.

Canvas Panels should be as flat as possible, otherwise, they don't display well in a frame, and can create spaces between the artwork and the frame. A bowed panel is also a sign of having been impacted by the effect of moisture. Canvas can shrink, even after it is mounted on the board. For this reason, Masterpiece® developed a unique proprietary process that stress-relieves each panel, thereby virtually eliminating the bow that is commonly found in competing panel products. Hardcore™ Pro Canvas Panels provide a stable foundation for your art.

We are all motivated by a keen desire for praise, and the better a man is, the more he is inspired by glory. ♦ Cicero

The ancient Roman statesman, Cicero, lived in a time when honor and reputation were pivotal cornerstones of society. His observation speaks to a universal human tendency: the innate desire to be recognized and lauded for our accomplishments. He postulates that this desire for affirmation isn't merely a superficial craving but something that drives even the most virtuous among us to achieve greater heights.

In the realm of art, this sentiment rings particularly true. Artists, through their creations, put forth a piece of themselves, and in doing so, often seek acknowledgment not just for the art but for the soul and passion poured into it. The recognition we crave acts as a beacon, guiding us and fueling our ambitions. It's not simply about seeking accolades, but about knowing that our work has touched others, that it has left an indelible mark. As artists, when we feel the warmth of appreciation, it propels us forward, reminding us of the impact our craft can have and the potential we possess to inspire and move others.
