Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) Primer Pigment

This primer contains premium-grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) white pigment, renowned for its exceptional performance in acrylic priming. Its standout feature is its enduring whiteness, coupled with remarkable flexibility that persists over time. In contrast to other pigments such as zinc dioxide, Titanium Dioxide maintains its resilience, preventing brittleness as it ages. This quality ensures that artworks retain their integrity and will stand the test of time.

Artfix Pau™ Portrait Smooth Belgian Linen offers a luxurious surface, ideal for highly detailed work. Preferred by portrait artists because it is so smooth for linen. Due to the nature of how flax plants are turned into linen textiles, there may be variations in yarn thickness thereby creating fabric that is individual in nature and has character. There can be infrequent naturally occurring nubs in the linen which may yield small slight bumps where the linen is a little thicker than the rest of the strand. This is normal and part of what gives linen its character.

Our Hardcore™ Pro Pro Canvas Panels are the flattest on the market. They are made using MDF (medium density fiberboard) which is the highest quality engineered wood board on the market. Moisture in the board can cause undesirable results to the panel and your artwork, which is why we size the board with four layers on the front before the canvas is mounted, thereby defending against moisture getting into the board and underneath your artwork.

Canvas Panels should be as flat as possible, otherwise, they don't display well in a frame, and can create spaces between the artwork and the frame. A bowed panel is also a sign of having been impacted by the effect of moisture. Canvas can shrink, even after it is mounted on the board. For this reason, Masterpiece® developed a unique proprietary process that stress-relieves each panel, thereby virtually eliminating the bow that is commonly found in competing panel products. Hardcore™ Pro Canvas Panels provide a stable foundation for your art.

Memory is the treasury and guardian of all things. ♦ Cicero

Cicero, with his unparalleled ability to delve into the intricacies of human existence, recognized memory as a powerful, intangible vault. It's where we store moments, both monumental and minute, experiences that shape our identity and the lessons that guide us. These recollections become the guiding stars, the foundational pillars upon which we build our perspectives and, subsequently, our creations.

Artists often turn to these memories, mining them for inspiration. In the ebb and flow of our art careers, it's these past experiences that become the brushstrokes on our canvases, the melodies in our compositions, or the narratives of our stories. They are the emotions, colors, and textures that we infuse into every creation. And in sharing our work, we invite others into our treasury, allowing them to glimpse our unique worldview, and in doing so, we find a shared understanding, a connection that transcends time and space.
