Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) Primer Pigment

This primer contains premium-grade Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) white pigment, renowned for its exceptional performance in acrylic priming. Its standout feature is its enduring whiteness, coupled with remarkable flexibility that persists over time. In contrast to other pigments such as zinc dioxide, Titanium Dioxide maintains its resilience, preventing brittleness as it ages. This quality ensures that artworks retain their integrity and will stand the test of time.

Artfix Pau™ Portrait Smooth Belgian Linen offers a luxurious surface, ideal for highly detailed work. Preferred by portrait artists because it is so smooth for linen. Due to the nature of how flax plants are turned into linen textiles, there may be variations in yarn thickness thereby creating fabric that is individual in nature and has character. There can be infrequent naturally occurring nubs in the linen which may yield small slight bumps where the linen is a little thicker than the rest of the strand. This is normal and part of what gives linen its character.

Our Hardcore™ Pro Pro Canvas Panels are the flattest on the market. They are made using MDF (medium density fiberboard) which is the highest quality engineered wood board on the market. Moisture in the board can cause undesirable results to the panel and your artwork, which is why we size the board with four layers on the front before the canvas is mounted, thereby defending against moisture getting into the board and underneath your artwork.

Canvas Panels should be as flat as possible, otherwise, they don't display well in a frame, and can create spaces between the artwork and the frame. A bowed panel is also a sign of having been impacted by the effect of moisture. Canvas can shrink, even after it is mounted on the board. For this reason, Masterpiece® developed a unique proprietary process that stress-relieves each panel, thereby virtually eliminating the bow that is commonly found in competing panel products. Hardcore™ Pro Canvas Panels provide a stable foundation for your art.

Each painting is a journey, and the landscape is but a reflection of that voyage. ♦ George Inness

Deep within the annals of American artistry, George Inness distinguished himself as more than just a painter; he was a storyteller. Every brushstroke on his canvas was a testament to his profound understanding of nature and his emotional connection to the world around him. The landscapes he painted were not merely scenes captured in a moment but narratives of personal experiences, internal introspections, and the bond between the soul of an artist and the ever-evolving world.

This perspective is a beacon for all artists, a reminder that in every piece we create, we encapsulate our emotions, beliefs, and insights. We don't merely reproduce what our eyes see; we reflect our innermost feelings and the path we have trodden in our art careers. When faced with a blank canvas, it's our mission to dive into the depths of our souls, retrieve our stories, and present them in a way that touches the hearts of those who witness our creations. The canvas, then, becomes more than just a medium; it's a mirror reflecting our artistic voyage, our passion, and our understanding of the world around us.
