Panel Porter™ is a simple, versatile, and economical wet panel carrier that provides the most secure transport of your precious artwork available on the market. Insert your wet painted panels face-to-face in a wooden frame designed with metal pins that lock each corner. Air holes allow your painting to breathe while you transport your artwork.
One of the celebrated features of this product is they liberate artists to paint any size panels they want. Since Panel Porter™ are sold in sizes "every inch," you can paint any size panel you want and still can safely transport your artwork. You are not limited to only a handful of standard sizes that are commonly available.
For example, combine this 15 size with 5"" size and you can paint and port an 5x15, which happens to be a 3:1 Panorama size.The 3:1 Panorama a proportion is preferred by many artists who require a super wide compositional format. Of course, this proportion is popularized by photographers and cinematographers, for ultra landscape and wide angled imagery that creates a sense of scope and grandeur in a scene, like cityscapes, ocean and mountain scenes, and scenes with expansive horizons. It is described as a polyomino proportion on the order of 3 or triple-square proportion. There are several common Panorama sizes in this 3:1 aspect ratio that you will recognize, and some are intriguing custom sizes, as well.

Panel Porter™ Profile View
Making your artwork as secure as possible is one of the key features and benefits of our unique wet panel carrier. Panel Porter™ transports two 1/8" thick wet panels, face to face. If you only paint one panel, then insert a dry panel in the other slot. The panels are spaced 1/2" apart, thereby providing adequate distance between the two paintings.
The inside groove of Panel Porter™ is tapered, which consequently barely touches the panel only at the extreme outside edge of the panel and thereby does not harm your artwork.
To assemble your Panel Porter™ wet carrier, fit three Porter Bars together to form a U-shape. Secure two of the corners with locking pins, tightened firmly using a US dime or screwdriver. The remaining two corners at the open end of the U can be closed with brass clasps for quick assembly and access, or with additional locking pins for a more secure connection. The goal is to keep the U-shape rigid, with the legs parallel and the corners holding their right angles.
Also included are 3/4" hook-and-loop dots. Attach them to the Porter Bars in the configuration shown in the diagram. The dots hold the U-shape steady while you slide a wet panel into the groove. A predictable, stationary frame makes loading easier and protects a wet painting from contact with a flexing bar.
Hold the panel from below with the artwork facing up, and slide it into the lower groove of the U-shaped frame. The locking pins and hook-and-loop dots keep the Porter Bars parallel, so the panel slides in cleanly without striking a flexing bar.
