Vegan Ground:

There are no animal products that make-up the sizing and the primer for this fine canvas. Historically, traditional canvas grounds have included egg tempura, pigments with cow urine, and of course, rabbit skin glue. In today's rapidly advancing world, there are many more choices available for artists who prefer non-animal based products that perform far better than their animal-based predecessors.

Tight'n'Up™ Liquid Canvas Retensioner

Stretching your own canvas is a great way to have complete command of the process from start to finish. Once your canvas is fully stretched, and if you notice any puckers or loosely tensioned areas, or perhaps even slight waves, you can always rely upon Tight'n'UpLiquid Canvas Retensioner to correct any inconsistencies in the canvas tension. You can be sprayed on the back of a canvas to repair most canvas tension issues.

With Tight'n'Up™, you can add tension to just a small area, or a large area. Simply spray it lightly on the back and brush it into the canvas, and within seconds, your canvas becomes tighter and stays tighter. The more you use, the tighter it gets.

Spectators are the actors of tomorrow. ♦ Robert Delaunay

Robert Delaunay, a pivotal figure in the annals of abstract art, had a keen perception of the interplay between light and darkness. His works, deeply influenced by the dynamism of color and form, often explored the balance between contrasting elements. In this statement, Delaunay might be drawing parallels between the sun's omnipresence and the inevitable shadow it casts. As the sun illuminates, it also defines, carving out forms and silhouettes, breathing life into the nuances of the world around us.

Similarly, in the realm of art, it's the light of our creativity that casts shadows of doubt, introspection, and evaluation. The brighter our artistic fervor, the darker the challenges that arise in our path. However, it is this intricate dance of light and shadow that gives depth to our works, turning them from mere paintings into masterpieces. In our endeavors, we artists not only embrace the light but also the darkness, for it is the contrast that lends meaning and context to our creations.

So, while the canvas stretches before us, ready to capture our imaginations, let's remember that both brilliance and obscurity have their roles. They define our perspective, shape our insights, and, ultimately, contribute to the stories we tell through our art.

Creativity is the reason you have landed on this page. Enjoy our own portrait rendition of Robert Delaunay and the spoken words and meaning we provide. Now..go paint!
